SS18 conference
More than 600 language experts from all over the world gathered in Southampton for SS18 (Sociolinguists Symposium 18) in September 2010.
This conference series was launched in the 1970s to discuss and debate current issues around languages in society. This year's event centred around migration and transnational issues.
