Publication of "Miller's Marine War Risks"

The publication of the 4th edition of Michael Miller’s text on the marine insurance of war risks was marked by a lively and informative webinar on Monday 29th June. Presentations by the authors, Michael Davey QC, Professor James Davey and Oliver Caplin, followed introductory remarks by Sir Bernard Rix. Professor Davey, a member of the Institute of Maritime Law, contributed nine chapters to the substantially revised text, including original discussion of the application of the Insurance Act 2015, the role of held covered clauses, and the interrelationship between the doctrine of utmost good faith, wilful misconduct and forfeiture in respect of fraudulent claims.
