The Institute of Maritime Law, University of Southampton, would like to invite you to a one-day conference on Commercial Law. It will cover recent developments in four different areas: Carriage of Goods By Sea, Conflict of Laws, Insurance Law and Environmental Law.
The Institute of Maritime Law, University of Southampton, would like to invite you to a one-day conference on Commercial Law. It will cover recent developments in four different areas: Carriage of Goods By Sea, Conflict of Laws, Insurance Law and Environmental Law. The topics of the papers that will be presented by academics and practitioners from England, Australia and Belgium will include the Insurance Act 2015, arbitration under the Recast Brussels Regulation, interpretation of terms in contracts of carriage, marine pollution and environmental damage. The day has been designed by Dr Ozlem Gurses, Associate Professor in Maritime Law at the University of Southampton, who will be speaking along with:

This course is accredited for 5 CPD hours with the Law Society of England and Wales Continuing Professional Development Scheme and for 5 CPD points with the English Bar Standards Board
Fee and enquiries
