INVITATION – Energy Research Away Day - A day to hear about what is current in Multidisciplinary Energy research, what our early career researchers are doing and an opportunity to develop new collaborations and contacts
Calling all those interested in Energy Research at Southampton University whether you are PIs, Early Career Researchers or PhD students, please come along and learn about the Multidisciplinary Energy research across the university. We are seeking contributions for this event - either:
1.Provide a 5 min powerpoint presentation of your research (max.3 slides) asap
2.Provide a poster for the lunchtime poster session
In either case, please let us know (authors, title and abstract) preferably by 4 May 2012. Please Email: fmc@soton.ac.uk

09:30 coffee/tea upon arrival Welcome and Introduction 10:00- 11:00 Session 1: Speed Presentations - 5 minutes, 3 slides, one per project, one per person
11:15 - coffee
11:15-12:15 Session 2 : Speed Presentations - 5 minutes, 3 slides, one per project, one per person
12:15- 13:30 - Lunch and poster viewing session
13:30- 14:00 - Session 3: Early Career Researchers session
14:00 - 14:30 - break-out groups with specific questions
15:00 -15:30 - Feedback from groups and open discussion
15:30 - tea and close
Please RSVP if you would like to attend to Frances Clarke Email: fmc@southampton.ac.uk specifying whether you would like to make a presentation or provide a poster (as display boards will have to be ordered) Please cascade this message to PIs and to your Early Career Researchers and PhD students and encourage them to attend/submit presentations and posters. Lunch and refreshments provided and plenty of free parking.
