Engaging colleagues in sustainability Event

We are joined by Gin Tidridge, B&Q's One Planet Home Range Manager. Gin joined B&Q back in 1992. After working in stores, marketing and as part of B&Q's international operations Gin has focused on communicating sustainability to customers and colleagues since 2008.

The importance of staff engagement often gets lost in the day to day running of a business. On the subject of social responsibility it is often even harder to get your message across. In 2010, B&Q succeeded in actively engaging 20% of its 30,000 employees in an award winning eco programme as part of its award winning sustainability action plan.
