Event details

Agincourt is one of the best known battles of the middle ages but still generates controversy today, even at its 600th anniversary. Anne Curry has spent many years looking at archives as well as the battlefield itself in order to solve some of its conundrums, such as why the English won so easily and why we can't find any mass graves. Her lecture will take us to the heart of the debate on what can be known for certain and what is simply part of the 'Agincourt legend'?
