Southampton Postgraduate appointed Supreme Court Judge in Victoria, Australia.

The School of Law is pleased to note that Anne Ferguson, who completed her doctorate on unfair contracts, at the School of Law, University of Southampton from 1985-1989, has just been appointed as a judge of the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia. Ms Ferguson is the first practising female solicitor appointed directly as a Supreme Court judge in this State.
