Congratulations to the Wessex Immunology Group prize winners

The annual Wessex Immunology Group spring meeting took place on Wednesday 8th June. The topic of this year’s meeting was immunomodulation, with the event attracting over 125 attendees. Experts in the field spoke about immunomodulatory host responses to viral and bacterial infection and switching unwanted immune responses ‘on’ or ‘off’ as novel therapeutic approaches. Early Career Researchers were invited to present their data either as an oral presentation or as a poster.

CONGRATULATIONS to Andy Chancellor, Maria del Mar Cendra and Salah Mansour - winners in this year’s spring meeting, kindly sponsored by the Institute for Life Sciences. Andy Chancellor won the prize for best speaker and Maria del Mar Cendra and Salah Mansour won prizes for best poster.
