Composition workshop: Ensemble Paramirabo Event

We are delighted to welcome Ensemble Paramirabo for a workshop with six of our final year undergraduate composition students, who have written works especially for this occasion.

The Canadian group Ensemble Paramirabo perform contemporary music and are distinguished by their innovative approaches to the concert experience. Formed in Montréal in 2008, the ensemble has toured internationally to England and Mexico and has been invited to Domaine Forget, Waterloo Region Contemporary Music Sessions, New York’s Mise-En Festival, Winnipeg’s Cluster New Music Festival, and the Montreal Contemporary Music Lab. In June 2019, Paramirabo will again be ensemble-in-residence for the Domaine Forget International Music and Dance Academy’s Composition Session.
