Fantastic results in 2018 National Student Survey

The results of the 2018 National Student Survey, an annual nationwide survey of graduating students, are now out.

According to the 2018 NSS, 98% of students on our Philosophy BA were satisfied overall with the quality of the course.

In addition:

-          98% of Philosophy BA students agreed that the course is intellectually stimulating.

-          93% said that the course had provided them with opportunities to explore idea or concepts in depth.

-          95% agreed that staff are good at explaining things.

-          93% agreed that staff had made the subject interesting.

The result for overall satisfaction for Southampton places us in the top ten nationally for Philosophy, while the result for assessment and feedback places us in the top five.

These fantastic results reflect our long-standing commitment to education.
