Thursday 5th March plenary speaker: Dr Manbinder Sidhu
Keynote title: The Key Realities and “Truths” of At-Scale Primary Care
Dr Manbinder Sidhu is an Associate Professor at the Health Services Management Centre (HSMC) and Co-Director of the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) funded BRACE Rapid Evaluation Centre at the University of Birmingham. His research interests focus on evaluating primary care policy, the development of new models of integrated care in the UK, and the role of learning networks and communities of practice to bring change in clinical practice.
Friday 6th March plenary speaker: Dr Jessica Watson
Keynote title: Inclusive Digital Health? Making Blood Test Results Accessible for All
Dr Jessica Watson is a GP and Consultant Senior Lecturer at the University of Bristol. She also chairs the Primary care Academic CollaboraTive (PACT). Jessica’s research uses a mixture of qualitative and quantitative methods to answer questions about when doctors should use blood tests, how they should interpret results, and how to share information about tests with patients. Three of her publications have featured in the British Journal of General Practice 'Top 10' papers.
