Georgia Foote

Georgia Foote

Georgia is a doctoral student in the Faculty of Medicine. Her research focuses on understanding how best to support patients with alcohol dependence whilst treated in hospital. Through understanding this, she aims to develop a psychosocial intervention for patients with alcohol dependence that can be delivered in an acute hospital setting by peer mentors.

Prior to her doctoral studies Georgia studied at the Universities of Bath and Liverpool, and worked as a research assistant on a project aiming to understand the effectiveness and implementation of Alcohol Care Teams in NHS acute hospitals.
