Morgan is a third year PhD student in the Faculty of Medicine with LifeLab. Her research involves the evaluation of Early LifeLab, a school-based educational child health programme taking place in primary schools within Southampton. In Early LifeLab, educational modules are centred around children using scientific inquiry skills to learn the science behind WHY it's important to be healthy. The idea is children will make informed decisions based on their understanding of how these choices may affect their bodies. Morgan's aim during the evaluation is to adapt evaluation methods for use with children aged 4-11 years old to ensure children have the opportunity to genuine understand and respond appropriately.
Through the Policy Associates Scheme, Morgan seeks to understand further how to present research to policy makers in order to drive impact and change.
