Public Policy@Southampton will host the public debate ‘Views on Europe’, offering the University and local communities an opportunity to discuss views both for and against the UK remaining in the EU ahead of the referendum on 23 June, 2016.
Hosted by Peter Henley, Political Editor for BBC South, this lively ‘Question Time’ style event will feature student leaders James Edwards, Students for Europe and Matthew Cowley, Students for Britain . More speakers from both sides of the debate are yet to be confirmed.
This event coincides with publication of the Public Policy|Southampton blog ‘Views on Europe’, which presents a range of opinions on the European debate, including contributions from Southampton academics, students, politicians and others inside the UK and also from outside looking in.
