Joint Honours Framework
A Joint Honours degree is defined as "any degree programme whose award name includes two or more disciplines, regardless of 'and' or 'with' nomenclature, and includes core or compulsory modules from different Departments, Schools or Faculties". This would therefore include programmes co-taught by two departments within the same School, as well as programmes taught across Schools and/or Faculties.

The framework establishes what programme teams must do, should do, and could do to enhance their delivery against each of the 6 key themes.
The framework is in addition to the work the project team has undertaken to produce Toolkits for the Programme Approval and Review process. These toolkits will reference the framework when helping programme teams design or evaluate new or existing programmes.
