Self-tuning the cosmological constant problem and fab 4
We will discuss the big and small cosmological constant problem in light of particular higher order scalar tensor theories put forward by Horndeski in the early 70's. We will filter out a theory made up of 4 scalar tensor interaction terms that has self-tuning properties. We will discuss the geometric properties of these terms, a precise solution and relation to Lovelock theory.
