National Research Technical Professional Network Event 2022 Event

We are pleased to announce our second event for Research Technical Professionals, which is a two-day one based on 'Enhancing Research Culture'. We are still developing the programme, but it will feature presentations, seminars and training workshops on the below topics, as well as a chance to network and socialise with your technical community.

• Research Data Management (half-day workshop delivered by the Digital Curation Centre )
• Marketing your Facility (Ken Punter, University of Northampton)
• Engaging with Industry
• Grant-writing 101
• Sustainable Lab Practices (Talk on LEAF with Dr. Martin Farley + panel discussion)
• Developing Leadership Skills (Sandy Sparks, TALENT)

This will be a hybrid event at Scarman on the Warwick campus, with FREE registration for all, and FREE overnight accommodation for the first 50 in-person registrants. We have space for 100 delegates in-person and no limit online. An evening dinner will also be provided for all in-person attendees on the 6th.

For those attending online, individual Zoom links will be sent out 2-3 days prior to the event. If you require overnight accommodation, the event is being held at Scarman which has bed and breakfast accommodation - for convenience this would be our recommendation.
