Calcium levels in a single Z-plane over time.

These images are single plane reconstructions of the lowest Z-plane taken from the 3d images. The Calcium levels in this Z-plane are both coloured coded relatively, with the lowest levels blue and the highest levels red, and shown in a 3-dimensional manner, with the height of the peak directly proportional to the calcium level.

The time that the images were taken is given next to the image in seconds.

Clicking on any of the images below will go to a larger version of that image. To make comparisons over time easier, a second image for the next time period is also shown, so clicking on image 00 will show large versions of the time period 00s to 05s; the second will give 05s to 10s, etc... Please note that this has made the pages quite large, at about 74Kb, but it really is neccessary to have two images on each screen, otherwise the limitations of the human short term memory render any differences negligable (i.e. you forget the last image the minute the next one is loaded). I'm sure that if you can wait long enough for them to be downloaded you will agree with me.
