It's official: The University of Southampton is one of the top 10 universities for disabled students.

The Best Universities in the UK article which featured in the Times on the 18th June 2008 included a link to The Times Good University Guide 2009 which allows students and parents to create their own individual university rankings and to compare the strengths and weaknesses of different institutions by sorting universities according to one of eight criteria - from student satisfaction to research quality and degree results. As part of the feature, the article provided additional facts and figures on a range of issues including which universities are top for disabled students. Wessex Needs Assessment Centre

WNAC provides specialist assessments for students with disabilities and specific learning difficulties (dyslexia), many of whom are eligible for the Disabled Students' Allowances (DSA).

Dyslexia Services

Dyslexia Services (formerly LDC) support students with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties, such as dyspraxia. Specialist academic study skills tuition is provided. Full diagnostic assessments can be arranged.
