JWST Timing Consortium
Exploring time-domain science possibilities with JWST
Rapid time-domain infrared parameter space remains unexplored. JWST is NASA's newest frontier mission, and the largest and most sensitive infrared space telescope to-date. JWST's sub-array capabilites allow for time resolutions down to about 0.1 s. Combined with the unprecedented sensitivity of the mission, this opens up a range of scientific possibilities. I am leading the JWST Timing Consortium. Our aim is to enable and exploit timing studies with JWST. The interests of the current consortium members include accretion studies, occultations, pulsating sources, and more.
