Come along and try out science based activities in this beautiful outdoor environment. This Saturday morning workshop is designed to introduce you to key points for facilitating learning outside the classroom. The session is packed full of great ideas to get you started. Bring a packed lunch or eat in the cafe, then stay on to enjoy free entry to the gardens.

Workshop lead, Carla Thomas-Buffin
BA in Biology and Psychology
Carla is the Head of Education at Sir Harold Hillier Gardens.Using the Gardens as a large, natural classroom, the Education Service delivers outdoor, curriculum-based activities at all key stages, hosting approximately 12,000 students every year on fully guided visits. Carla will give a guided tour highlighting the options available to early years settings and primary schools.
