Mr Kutalmis Bercin is a Postgraduate research student with the AFM group within Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Southampton.

Kutalmis Bercin graduated from Istanbul Technical University with BSc (Honour/High Honour lists) in Mechanical Engineering in 2010, specializing in mechanical energy systems.  He received his MSc (Distinction) in Sustainable Energy Technologies from the University of Southampton in 2011.  He is currently studying towards a PhD in computational fluid-structure interaction of wind turbine blades, funded by a Lord Raleigh Scholarship with support from EPSRC and Arup.
