Dr Julie Cullen was appointed to the Portsmouth City Clinical Commissioning Group as the Registered Nurse Strategic Board Member. Julie commenced her post on 1 st November and will be working with the Group two days a month on behalf of the Faculty. The news was recently published in The News .

If you're interested in becoming a health visitor, school nurse, occupational health nurse or sexual health nurse the Faculty will be holding an open evening in building 67 on Wednesday 12 th December from 4pm.

Congratulations to second year pre-registration MSc physiotherapy students Emily Chester and Natalie Cole who gave a podium presentation at the prestigious Society for Back Pain Research conference last week.
One of Dr Lisa Roberts' doctoral students, Neil Langridge, was also selected to give a special poster presentation for his work on ‘The place of gut feeling in clinical reasoning' and Lisa herself was invited to become President Elect of the Society.
This was the strongest representation ever by the University at the conference.
