Summer School Courses 2026
In July 2026, colleagues across the Faculty are hosting a range of courses for international students as part of the International Summer School.
Each of these courses is intended to introduce one or more of our Postgraduate programmes, and students will study in Southampton for a period of 1-3 weeks, depending on their choice of subjects.
This year courses centre around the ways in which our disciplines support people to engage in practical ways with the technological and cultural changes the world is experiencing: developing solutions for ethical business practice, exploring how creativity and cultural leadership can shape the future in a technological world, how academic research shapes the stories we tell about the past and how global cultural heritage is identified, interpreted, and protected across the world.
All courses are skills focused, including our Opera Studio (Italian Bel canto) with world-renowned artists and teachers, including celebrated soprano Lisette Oropesa (pictured) - a professional video of the final concert will be provided to all participants.
Please do join those colleagues leading these courses in helping to promote them by sharing the details with your networks.
