What is a Personal Motivation Session?

A Personal Motivation session is an opportunity to talk 1-2-1 with one our qualified fitness staff about your fitness goals and how they can keep you motivated to stay on top of achieving them through lockdown 3.0. These will be held virtually and will provide you with advice personalised to help you get the most out of your workouts over lockdown. Sessions last up to 60 minutes and are suitable for all abilities and levels of experience. Available six times a week from 8am - 5pm, this give you the control with flexibility, opportunity and individuality.

How Can I Get Involved?

The easiest way to book is through the UoS Sport app’s homescreen where there is a Personal Motivation tile at the top. Onced accessed uou will be presented with a list of dates and times, where you can select the session that suits you best.

Alternatively, if you do not have the app then you can access your account via Joinin. You can then making a booking onto a Personal Motivation Session on the booking site.

How are They Tailored To Me?

Once you have booked on to a personal motivation session there is a link to a questionnaire, please follow this link and complete the questionnaire as this will give your instructor the best insight into your goals and how it might be best to guide you.

During your session, your qualified instructor will want to understand your goals, routine and ambitions. This could anything from improving fitness, to toning certain muscles or even how to improve your mental wellbeing during lockdown. From here your instructor will be able to give you specific advise tailored to you!
