The University has 4 career pathways: research, education, enterprise and mixed portfolio/balanced pathway .
Each pathway and level (i.e. grades 4, 5, 6 and 7) has defined areas of contribution.
All staff are expected to contribute to ‘leadership, management and engagement’.
The career pathway matrix allows for movement between pathways. One area of growth for researchers has been the Enterprise pathway, which was clarified by The Reward Project.
