A brightly coloured Progress Pride flag waves against a clear blue sky. Below it is a teal text panel promoting a podcast episode titled “Neurodiversity Matters,” featuring Kai Syng Tan and Georgia Thom discussing creative practice and neurodivergence.

WSA academic Kai Syng Tan and digital artist Georgia Thom were invited to appear on Neurodiversity Matters, a podcast by the Qualitative Applied Health Research Centre (QUAHRC) at King’s College London.

The episode focused on how neurodivergence and art work together to explore marginalised experiences of the world including trans life, neurodivergence, and their intersections, amid the resurgence of the far right.

Dr Kai said: "When I was asked to speak on a podcast on neurodiversity and creative research, I extended the invitation to my PhD student at WSA, the brilliant digital artist Georgia Thom . If you fancy hardcore hemming and hawing (mine), and sharp insights into neurodiversity, transgender rights and creative research and resistance (Georgia's), you should give it a listen."
