Our campaign for a new Centre for Cancer Immunology is finishing this year with the fantastic news that the campaign total has just passed the £24m mark!

The life-saving research that the building will enable has evoked a huge response from local and wider communities, with success stories like Xano’s offering hope for future cures.

The Centre will be the first of its kind in the UK and will bring together world-leading cancer scientists under one roof and enable interdisciplinary teams to expand clinical trials and develop lifesaving drugs.

The new Centre is currently under construction on the University Hospital Southampton site and, with your help, will open next spring/summer.

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported our campaign – you have taken part in runs, cycle rides, bake sales, concerts, rowing challenges; given generously to the cause; and helped us spread the word on social media. It is all making a huge difference and we are very grateful.

We are now in our final fundraising stretch with just the last million to raise. Your support will help us get there.

Thank you.

Thank you.

We are thrilled to have reached the £24m mark and we are hugely grateful to everyone who has contributed so far. It has taken a lot of hard work by a lot of people to reach this brilliant milestone.  We still have some way to go but it is very exciting to be within touching distance of our new Centre being a reality.
