My experience inspired me to pursue a socially impactful career and achieve something more than profit in my working life

As a student organiser of the event, Josie and Pathik consistently encouraged me to engage fully with the event and it’s organisation, listening to and considering my thoughts and ideas with true interest and often taking them on board or pushing me to re-think them and improve.

Thanks to the Social Impact Lab’s commitment to offering great extra-curricular activities I have been able to learn and experience Social Entrepreneurship

The Civil Service values being able to work in diverse groups and I was able to confidently talk about these skills I learned on ISIC15

The Challenge has changed my whole outlook; I feel a lot more ambitious and I have gained so much confidence from seeing my idea become a reality

I think the beauty of the Social Innovation Challenge is that what you learn on the day can not only be used for the project at hand, but are also skills useful for future ventures, careers and even everyday life

I gained experience in dealing with time-pressured situations and providing on-the-spot answers to difficult questions.

The most obvious benefit has been realising that social entrepreneurship will be a fundamental part of my professional and personal future.

Spark India not only introduced me to a new culture and enhanced my career skills, but also developed me further as a person

The opportunity to collaborate with such wonderful people and learn so much has been great!

The idea we had evolved as it should and we eventually got to a good place where we could see our idea making a simple yet necessary impact on the environment.

I feel incredibly lucky to be part of such an inspirational network of Spark India Fellows and it gives me confidence to have this support network with me when I face future challenges!

ISIC-15 has been the most valuable experience of my University career thus far, granting me the opportunity to overcome geographical barriers to collaborate with international students and engage with local residents

The benefits of the module have extended far beyond the valuable skills I have learned; skills that have not only taught me a great deal about entrepreneurship, but also transferable skills that have been useful in all areas of my life
