Bradley was one of ten students who participated in the first International Social Innovation Challenge in Delhi, India, in August 2015:

"I chose to participate in the ISIC-15 challenge because my personal goal was to better understand the issues associated with female empowerment. I wanted to take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity in order to appreciate the prevalence of gender inequalities and to work on potential solutions.

ISIC-15 has been the most valuable experience of my University career thus far, granting me the opportunity to overcome geographical barriers to collaborate with international students and engage with local residents

The multi-disciplinary aspect of ISIC-15 allowed us to channel knowledge, creativity and enthusiasm from across the world into a successful project proposal, and apply specific knowledge gained from our various degree programmes. It was a chance to gain insight into the lives of others, and learn from the experiences (and assumptions) of others. ISIC-15 was an opportunity to develop myself personally, as well as to potentially contribute towards improving the status of women in a less privileged society.  ISIC-15 was a truly inspiring experience. It is one that will remain with me for years to come and will certainly influence my future research and career trajectories".
