AUDI3009 Work Experience 2

Module Overview

The module consists of your optional Semester 2 non-clinical work experience. This can be chosen prospectively from the non-placement pathway together with AUDI3008 Work Experience 1or if transferring to the non-placement pathway after having started AUDI3007 (for example if you don’t pass the clinical competence elements of AUDI3007).

Give you an opportunity to deepen your knowledge of audiology, hearing science or related fields, and to develop general professional skills and attitudes appropriate for a wide range of careers.

Placement Handbook. The Placement Handbook and the various resources on the Placement Website (www.southampton.ac.uk/audplace) provide general guidance on work experience, albeit specifically in context of clinical placements for AUDI3007. Briefings are provided during Parts 1-3 of the programme.
