Southampton Management School

Jonathan Klein

BSc MSc PhD

Primary position:
Senior Lecturer, Director of Undergraduate Programmes

My interests have broadened over the years from management science and operational research (particularly, though by no means exclusively, the "softer" end) to include information systems and knowledge management. I have undertaken externally funded research and consultancy in a variety of areas, including risk management and health care management. I am currently Director of Undergraduate Programmes for the School of Management.

I hold a BSc in Physics with Mathematics (University of Sussex, 1975), an MSc in the Physics of Ion Implantation and Radiation Effects in Materials (University of Sussex, 1977), and a PhD in Operational Research (Royal Holloway College, University of London, 1982).
