Biography
Bastien is a freelance double bass and electric bass player and teacher. He graduated from the University of Southampton with a BA Music (1st class) in 2001 and an MA Music Performance in 2002.
He currently teaches privately and in a number of institutions in and around Southampton.
As a performer, Bastien is primarily known as a jazz player, but he has played in a wide range of settings from function work to classical orchestras.
His main project currently is a blues-inspired originals project with Jack Dale.
