Current research
Giulia works primarily on the intersection between philosophy of language and metaphysics.
The aim of her research is to understand the relationship between three fundamental kinds of entities: objects in the world, thoughts about those objects, and language about objects and thoughts. In particular, she focuses on the nature of contents, propositions and facts and many of her publications aim at showing that there are no propositions.
Giulia is also very interested in the history of Early Analytic Philosophy and in particular in the theories of contents and facts of some female figures, such as Dorothy Wrinch and Susanne Langer.
When she wants to treat herself, Giulia reads Rudolf Carnap, Susanne Langer or Bertrand Russell.
