Social Prescribing for people to Live ENjoyably with Dementia/memory problems In Daily life (SPLENDID) NIHR funded project is developing, evaluating and implementing a social prescribing pathway for people living with dementia and their carers:

Systematic review and narrative synthesis to explore the meanings, experiences and impacts of frailty from the perspectives of older people.
Supervised PhD research includes ethnographic studies exploring i) medicines-related care; and ii) health system responsiveness in integrated care services for older people living with frailty.

Teaching
Euan is module and seminar lead for the Research Project module for MN (HLTH6256) & MSc students (HLTH6238) and frailty education lead in the School. He lectures on the Person Centred Nursing Care level 4 (NPCG1026) and level 7 (NPCG6001) modules, and is research project supervisor for a number of Masters and Doctoral level students.
Euan is interested in supervising PhD students undertaking social science informed research to improve patient centered care and reduce health inequalities in older people living with complex conditions, in particular frailty, dementia, stroke and multi-morbidity.
