About
I joined the Department of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics, Faculty of Arts and Humanities as a Teaching Fellow after receiving my PhD in Applied Linguistics/ Translation studies at the University of Southampton in 2022. Prior to that, I also worked as a freelance translator and interpreter between English and Chinese for conferences and companies in China.
I am interested in interdisciplinary translation and transcultural studies that touch on the topics of empirical translation, intercultural communication, cognitive processes and reception of reading.
