Shihao’s research focuses on Spatiotemporal Analysis, Modelling of energy price/pandemic data to offer decision-making support, and Statistical Learning.

Shihao is interested in Time Series Modelling, Methodology and Applications of Statistical Learning, Spatiotemporal Analysis, and Modelling of energy price/pandemic data. Shihao is particularly interested in combining the strength of statistical methods and modelling approaches to tackle real-world problems.
Before joining the University of Southampton as a postgraduate researcher, Shihao received his MSc in Statistics with Data Science at The University of Edinburgh, and his BMgmt in Information Management and Information Systems at Guangdong University of Technology.
