pic Please note the official BBC Stargazing Live TV programs will be broadcast in March 2015(not January as with previous years). This is so the TV broadcasts will be able to talk about the solar eclipse which is happening on the 20th March 2015.

Please note we will not be able to see a total solar eclipse from here in the UK, only a partial eclipse, visible between 8am - 10am. It will look like THIS!

This event is being organised in collaboration with the Life Long Learning Centre at the University of Southampton.

Science and Engineering Family day- Saturday 22nd March 2014
We do 5 free planetarium shows in the Physics building as part of science & engineering week every March.

These show are aimed at families who want to learn about science and space in general.

Please be aware that for all general public events places inside the dome are LIMITED

Only 26 places per show...

booking is NECESSARY !!!

In most cases bookings are made on the day using a sign up sheet outside the dome or in Garden Court. Please turn up EARLY to avoid disappointment.
