Accommodation for the current academic session (2011/12) - Students, Scholars and Staff
Depending on availability we may be able to offer accommodation part-way through the academic year to students, scholars or staff visiting the University. We are normally able to accept applications for this activity from December until August. Please view our Accommodation in the Current Year section for more information.
Accommodation for 2012/13 academic session – Current Students
Applications for contiuing students to stay in halls for 2012-13 will be open in early February at www.onlineaccommodation.soton.ac.uk If you are a non-EU International student we guarantee you an offer of a place in hall for the duration of your study. In order for this guarantee to be valid, you must make an application for accommodation by the deadline to be confirmed. Please check back at this site closer to the time.
Accommodation for other current students (UK and EU) cannot be guaranteed, and due to the popularity of halls accommodation, we must advise you that current UK and EU students are unlikely to receive an offer of accommodation in halls, but you are welcome to apply.
Accommodation for the 2012/13 academic session - New Students
From the start of February 2012, we will be accepting online applications from new students for the coming academic year 2012/13. You will be able to apply online using your University of Southampton Student ID number, via the website www.onlineaccommodation.soton.ac.uk. You will receive your student ID number along with your offer of study; if you have not received this, please contact your Faculty here at the University.
Please view the application guide, to the right of this page, for details on how to complete the online application form. Please note that you must submit your application for accommodation by the deadline of the 1st August 2012 to be covered by the accommodation guarantee.
