Student Community and Welfare
The University of Southampton's Hall Community offers a wide range of accommodation to suit most preferences, from standard packages including room and meals, to self-catering flats with en suite facilities. There are the Residences Support Service and student representatives (JCR) to help you settle in, as well as all the amenities you will need such as launderettes, shops, gyms and hall bars.
All single occupancy study bedrooms include a data point, allowing access to the University network, learning resources and the internet. There is also the award winning Uni-link bus service that connects all our Halls in Southampton to the main teaching campuses. The cost of these services is included in your residence fee.
When you arrive in Southampton our dedicated team of Hall Managers, cleaners and porters will ensure that Southampton truly becomes your home away from home, and while we may not wash the dishes we will ensure that any faults or maintenance requests are dealt with as promptly as possible.
