The Gower Building residences were built in 1999 and are placed at the top of a three-floor building, which also accommodates a variety of commercial businesses, including  bookshop.

The residence comprises 22 flats of excellent quality for postgraduates or mature undergraduate students. The studio flats are for single students and the one-bedroom flats are for couples with no children and/or single parent families with one small child. All rooms have a private bathroom.

The Gower Building is located at the top end of the Highfield Campus and is conveniently situated for both the campus and local amenities
