There are a number of ways to visit the University, including undergraduate open days, campus tours, UCAS and Higher Education fairs and self-guided walking tours.
Go to the University's Visits and open days page for full details of visit opportunities including open day dates and booking information. You can also join the campus tour in our YouTube video below to find out more about the campus, facilities and accommodation on offer if you study at the University of Southampton.
Visiting Engineering and the Environment
There are a number of ways to visit the University, including undergraduate open days, campus tours, UCAS and Higher Education fairs and self-guided walking tours.
UCAS Open Days
The University runs a number of open days each year. These provide a great opportunity for you to visit the campus and learn about what the University of Southampton has to offer. To book your place on our next open day please visit the main University site.
UCAS visit days
On receipt of a UCAS form, we invite all promising applicants to visit. Visit days run from the beginning of November through to mid-March. During this visit, you will meet with one of our academic staff to discuss the offer in an informal setting and explore how your interests and aspirations fit with the course. This meeting also gives us the opportunity to get to know you. In addition, you will have an opportunity to meet some of our current students who will show you around our facilities and the main campus. This provides an excellent chance to ask questions about the University, Engineering and the Environment, our programmes and student life at Southampton.
Independent visits
Independent visits to the main Highfield Campus are possible at any time, and a walking tour leaflet is available. We will also be happy to arrange a private visit if you are not able to attend on any of the other preview days. Please contact us.
Virtual tours
Alternatively, take a virtual tour of the University Campus.
