Visits & open days

Visiting the University is a great opportunity to see the campus and find out what it’s really like to live and study here. You'll be able to see our state-of-the-art student facilities, including the Hartley Library, Jubilee Sports Centre, Students’ Union and a hall of residence.

There are a number of ways to visit the University, including undergraduate Open Days, campus tours, UCAS and Higher Education fairs and self-guided walking tours.

Our next undergraduate Open Days will be held in July 2015. Find out more about Open Days. (Please note there is a Health Sciences visit day on 26th November, please see the right hand menu).

Join the campus tour in our YouTube video below to find out more about the campus, facilities and accommodation on offer if you study at Southampton.

UCAS visit days

In addition to the University Open days we hold a number of discipline specific Visit Days for students who have applied to study with us. The days run from November through to mid-March.

Our visit days provide an opportunity to find out what it’s like to study your chosen discipline at Southampton and get a feel for campus life.
