The Institute of Maritime Law is a leading world centre for research, consultancy and training in maritime law.
The Institute seeks to be a focal point for maritime law research, and to form a bridge between academics and practitioners: "Sea Links- Maritime Lawyers and the Market Place", Hon. Michael Summerskill at the inauguration of the Institute of Maritime Law on 1st December 1983.
