Celebrating 30 years of service
1982 - 2012
In 1982 the Institute of Maritime Law was formed in recognition of a growing need for a formal centre to respond to and shape what was a rapidly developing area of law and research. Over the years the growth of the Institute has kept pace with the growth of the field and its Members now train and advise hundreds of shipping lawyers and maritime professionals each year.
To celebrate a number of courses and events took place during 2012 to mark these 30 successful years of the Institute. Keep up to date by joining our Mailing List. You may also be interested in reading the 2012 annual report.
