Dr Zhuang (Jason) Zhang is Head of Teaching in Banking and Finance and Postgraduate Senior Tutor at the Southampton Business School (SBS).

Current research
Jason’s main research interest lies in the areas of Corporate Finance, International Finance and Financial Technologies (Fintech). His research also addresses issues on Corporate Governance, Employment Decisions, Social Capital and Sustainability.
He has published extensively in International Journals including British Accounting Review, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money, European Journal of Finance, Economics Letters etc. He serves as an ad-hoc referee in Research Bureau of the People’s Bank of China, and several prestige academic journals (ABS 3 and above).

Jason is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has extensive experience in leading curriculum and module design in Finance at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Biography
Jason holds a BSc (Hons) in Finance from Jinan University, an MSc in Accounting and Finance (Distinction) and a PhD in Finance from the University of Durham.
