James is the module lead for the Building Digital Health Interventions module.
James is interested in supervising undergraduate and masters projects exploring any aspects of the use of development of digital health interventions.
Biography
James is a Senior Research Fellow and Lecturer in the School of Psychology, University of Southampton. He is particularly interested in the use of digital technologies in psychology research and the delivery of digital health interventions. James is heavily involved in the Digital Intervention Group at the University of Southampton, as well as part of the LifeGuide+ project; a set of software tools to allow intervention designers with no experience of programming to create interactive web-based interventions.
James provides digital and intervention development expertise across a wide range of projects and topic areas, including cognitive health in older adults, physical activity, nutrition, acne/eczema care, reducing overprescription of antibiotics, recuding respiratory infections and improving infection control behaviours.
