Biography
I joined the University of Southampton in October 2002 after completing my doctoral and post-doctoral research from the Population Research Centre at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Prior to that, I had been involved in the research on reproductive health indicators, an evaluation study for the strengthening of infrastructure in secondary level hospitals in Kerala taking into account of the changing patterns of infectious, degenerative and re-emerging diseases, and on the quality of health care services and family planning programmes in India.
Education
PhD (Demography), University of Groningen, The Netherlands (2000)
MSc (Demography), University of Kerala, India (1994)
