Pre-registration training

Our BSc (Hons) and MSc Audiology degree programmes provide pre-registration training for those new to audiology. We aim to provide high-quality learning opportunities that will help you to develop broad scientific, problem-solving and interpersonal abilities, as well as providing you with the key skills required for professional registration.

Professional development

Our MSc Audiology degree, Master in Clinical Research and Doctorate in Clinical Practice programmes and our range of short courses, including master's level modules, provide excellent opportunities for professional development for qualified clinical audiologists. We aim to build on your knowledge and experience to further develop your broad scientific, problem-solving and interpersonal abilities as well as your skills at conducting research and leading service development.

The world-renowned MSc Audiology programme(which will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2012) has distinct learning outcomes and learning activities from the BSc Audiology, providing Master's students the opportunities to develop deeper understanding of audiology as well as refined and advanced cognitive, communication and working skills.

Research degrees

Our MPhil and PhD research programmes, the Doctorate in Clinical Practice (DClinP) and the new Master of Research (MRes) in Clinical Research (MRes) provide outstanding opportunities to embark on first-class, exciting research training in a variety of areas of fundamental, translational and clinical science within multi- and cross-disciplinary teams and projects.
