Now, more than ever, we need to understand how the money markets work at a global and local level. Economists at Southampton are involved in examining many aspects of the complex web of financial transactions that control our lives.

Our aim is to conduct high-quality, original research which has international impact and relevance to both the discipline and policymakers. With 16 nationalities represented in the group, our international composition ensures that findings are disseminated worldwide.
