Mind matters. Experience psychology in action.
Psychology is the scientific study of human behaviour and mental functioning.
This includes everything from close relationships to the visual system and memory, and from how a child learns to ageing. Addiction, pain management, autism, AD/HD, the effect of food additives, sexual health and the treatment of diabetes are just a few of the areas in which our research teams are seeking to aid the wider community.
Our degrees aim to develop you as a highly competent, professional graduate. We also want to give you that wider outlook on the world which is part of the whole University experience. As a research-led University, we can equip you with the analytic and other transferrable skills favoured by employers. The single-subject BSc (Hons) is recognised by the British Psychological Society, providing Graduate Basis for Registration.
Psychology is not just all in the mind. We can help you put it into action as well.
